i definitely agree with your comments about the commentary.
i remember noticing the problem of objectivity in the commentary for the first time after liddell-couture 3 which i thought wasn’t such a great fight, with liddell just looking for the KO punch and couture who just seemed to intimidated. but rogan and goldberg didn’t say anything negative about the fight especially since lidell and couture are such dominant “symbols” of the ufc.
