Ultimate Fighter 79: Nemesis Picks and odds
December 24, 2007
Some of you out there may be into betting and gambling on UFC and MMA matches. There are many great sites out there to bet on such as Bodogglife.com and Betus.com, both are well respected and secure for placing your bets on all things sports, including the UFC. Both sites are easy to use, trusted by many, secure and most importantly pay off without issue. Either site is highly recommended for all the rabid UFC and MMA fans out there that love to gamble on their favorite fighters.
The Picks for UFC 79 Nemesis are only out for 2 fights as of now, but they are really the only fights that matter on the card since they will be the two main events. The first match covered is of course, former ultimate fighter light heavyweight champion Chuck “the Iceman” Liddel versus former Pride champion Wanderlei “The Ax Murderer” Silva. Odds are coming in at an overwhelming 5-1 for Silva which is a pretty good rate for a match that has fairly even odds for both fighters to win. Bets on Liddel Could pay off well if he fights like he did before Quintin “Rampage” Jackson and Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine beat him.
The second match is the highly anticipated Georges “Rush” St. Pierre versus Matt Hughes Rematch. Originally Matt Hughes was to fight Current Champion Matt “The Terra” Serra, but a slipped disk prevented Serra from fighting this card. Georges quickly stepped in to take the fight and Hughes was quick to agree knowing St. Pierre usually needs much longer to prepare for his fights. Odds in this fight are in St. Pierres favor by approximately 60% so if you are betting the odds you want to put down some money for Pierre to win.
Some users may want to bet on the other fights as well, but the two main events are where everyone’s attention will be on Saturday the 29th of December. Remember to stay tuned here for more UFC and MMA news, odds and event information. For those of you betting on these tempting odds use caution, only bet as much as you can afford to lose and most importantly, good luck.
