UFC 79: Nemesis Sold out, but you can still get in!

December 25, 2007

No Surprise there, The Ultimate Fighter Events in recent history have all sold out some in a matter of minutes. The Ultimate Fighter Routinely brings in more sales in event centers and arenas then the biggest band names out there, for example the rolling stones.

So today the UFC has announced that although tickets for the event are sold out, fans can still get in to watch the fantastic upcoming matches in the Mandalay bay Events center. They will be holding a closed circuit screening of the fights in the ballroom at the center. Tickets for the viewing will be available at the Mandalay Box Office and through ticket master of course. At 50 dollars a pop it may still be a bit to expensive for some, but it is better then paying the astronomical prices for tickets that many pay to get into the fights. Though fans won’t be able to directly view the fights at least they will be in the same building and may be able to enjoy after parties that many fighters are famous for throwing after the events.

UFC 79: Nemesis will be featuring long awaited fights between Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Wanderlei “The Ax Murderer” Silva and a rematch between Georges “Rush” St. Pierre and Matt Hughes.

All these fighters have held the belt at one point or another and all these fighters want it back. The only way to get it is through their opponents. This is going to be a good one folks.

Look for the event on your local pay per view on Saturday, December the 29th at 7P.M. Pacific 10pm Eastern. If you are one of those lucky enough to have tickets you won’t be disappointed and to those in Vegas that do not have tickets but still want to go. You may want to look into going to the Mandalay Bay Events center and getting yourself some tickets for the closed screen TVs in the ballroom. Better then nothing right?
