    There’s a lot of things in America I don’t like (just as there is with in any country, my own is no exception) but this isn’t one of them. I’m sure you have boxing in the Middle East and boxing has more injuries than ultimate fighting. But I see your point, ufc LOOKS very barbaric, but theres more to it than just “extreme killer fighting on tv” as you call it.

    Ever heard of Marc Ratner? Ratner is the vice president of the UFC and a Executive Director of the Nevada Athletic Commission who regulates and sanctions fights who is once an ally of John McCain’s beef with the UFC.

    Come on, boxing and MMA are not going away.

    Tito Ortiz is not facing Rashad Evans. He’s facing Lyoto Machida at UFC 84.

    Ortiz already faced Evans and those two went into a draw at UFC 73.

    And there are a lot of MMA organizations out there not just the UFC, so the sport itself won’t go away.
